Old Woman

Happy 30th Birthday to me!  I've tried to pretend like this isn't actually happening but unfortunately, I can't stop time.  I'm really not upset but 30 does sound old when I say it out loud.  When I was younger I thought 30 would be old.  I also always said I wanted to be done having kids by this point but obviously I'm not there and I'm ok with that.  I don't feel old at all!  In fact, I fully expect my 30's to completely rock.  When I look back and think of all the "change" in my 20's, it was fun and all but I think I'm happy to be married, settled down, and content with no huge life changes on the horizon.
Cade made my birthday weekend very special.  Friday night we went to dinner at Ricks, my favorite restaurant, with our closest friends.  It was really fun to be celebrated.  He bought me the most beautiful peridot and diamond ear rings that match the ring he bought me last year.  Then, on Saturday morning, he took Finn and sent me to the spa where I got the works done.  It was very relaxing and wonderful!  I had lunch with his parents and then Cade and I got to go see a movie.  That night we all stayed at home and enjoyed the cooler weather and rain.  Nothing is better than feeling happy and content and being with my little family.  Thanks Love for making me feel so special :)
