We have been having so much fun lately. I love this stage of life although its challenging at times. My little son has become super independent and says "Me do it" about everything. We are learning to balance his sense of independence with my desire to help him and keep him safe (I hear this struggle is also known as the terrible 2's). He is talking up a storm and I love that he can tell me what he wants or how he feels. He can count to 13 and knows all his letters. He has begun to sing lately and it melts my heart to hear his little voice. I'm so thankful that he is liking preschool and doing great in class.

Finn loves his sleeping bag although we haven't actually used it yet. He pulls it into the play room and crawls in. I may let him nap in sometime soon just to see what happens. |

Finn can be so sweet and loving sometimes. He us cuddling with me on the couch after nap time. He gives the best kisses and hugs! |

Going to buy dog food is a huge adventure. This time we saw snakes, fish, rats, hamsters, and lizards. |

I finally gave in and let Finn lick the beaters while making cupcakes. From now on I'll never get them to myself again :) |
This past weekend we had celebration with my family for all our birthdays. Ironically, all of us beside the kids have birthdays within two months of each other. This year we decided to celebrate them all together and it was a blast. Finn had so much fun playing with his cousin. I'm also excited to announce that my brother and his wife are expecting another BABY!! yay!
Lastly, we have started a bible study at church called 'Mom to Mom'. It is a study designed for young ladies who are moms to be mentored by older moms in the church. I am loving this study!! I cannot say enough how great it is to know that the things I think and feel and struggle with are not problems that only I have. I love the fellowship with other moms and our mentors are wonderful Godly women but mostly, it has been refreshing to hear what God has to say about raising children and being a mom.
