As usual, I am a week late with my monthly post but this time I have an excuse...the "terrible twos" have officially hit my home (even though he isn't 2 yet). It seemed like over night Finn has learned that he has an opinion and that its important. He has learned to say the word "NO!" to everything and everyone including our dog. He has decided that he doesn't want any other children playing with his toys and lets them know very quickly. Thankfully, the ladies at the gym and church say he is doing ok when I'm not there but I've worn myself out this month trying to set and enforce boundaries for him. I bet this task will consume the next several years of my life (haha).
Although he has proved to be a toot, he is still a super cute toot and can be so loving sometimes. He even tried to hug a little kitten he saw on our ipad this month- how sweet is that? Many things this month are still the same like clothes and sizes etc so I'll skip all that boring stuff and I've already told you all about our Zoo trip and Easter. He has had another sinus infection and been miserable with all the drainage and coughing and not sleeping well but hopefully we are on the mend. My Dad gave him a bucket of balls, like tennis balls and base balls and a few other balls, that have given him hours upon hours of play in the backyard. He continues to amaze me with his dexterity and man can he throw a ball! We spend much of our day outside in the backyard, on walks, and at the park. We are both already getting tan. Oh yes, he can't sit still but a few seconds these days so I gave him a nilla wafer for his pictures- doesn't make for a good picture but at least I got one :)
