We just had the most fun weekend! We were blessed to get to spend time with both sides of our family and most importantly, each other! I'll tell about most of our weekend with pictures- that's more fun than talking about it anyways!
Friday, my Mom was off of school so Nana and Pops (my Mom and Dad) wanted to take Finn and my Brother's little girl Haylee to the Dallas Zoo. I tagged along of course! Finn loves animals and always has so much fun with Nana and Pops so of course it was a great day! Finn even got to spend the night at Nana and Pops house to play with Haylee. They had a blast together and of course, Cade and I got to go out and have a fun night too.
On Saturday, we spent the day celebrating with the Thompson crew. Everyone was there. First, we hunted Easter eggs in the backyard at Cody's. Then we picked up lunch and headed to the park. We ate, let the kids play, ran around, played basketball, and found some kites to fly. Finn was obsessed with the Kite and got to fly it all by himeself- such a big boy! The family went back to the house to play dominos of we had a nap but then Finn got to play with his cousins more and jumped on their trampoline for the first time. He had a big day and loved every second of it. I was worn out by the end.
On Sunday, we got all dressed up and went to church. I always love Easter Sunday and celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior! Praise for that! I found some awesome pants with sweet suspenders and shirt for Finn at Zara. He was a hit! Then, we headed to Nana and Pops for Easter lunch. It was so yummy!! Thanks for cooking Nana. Finn was super wild and crazy and wouldn't be still for a picture so they aren't that great but we got one.
Enjoy:

My little Easter Egg hunter. He was absolutely precious! As soon as he realized there was something in them, he had to open each one he found before he could go on. |
