19 Months: The best month yet!!

My little boy is a huge 19 months old!!  He is wild and has tons of energy but what has made this month the best month yet??  FINN HAS BEEN SLEEPING LIKE A ROCK STAR!! He has been sleeping about 11 1/2 hours at night and hasn't woke up once in the middle of the night.  I am one well rested and happy momma! Now for the cuteness:

• Finn's 18 month clothes are getting so short.  I've been buying new summer clothes and instead of 24 months I'm getting 2T because he is so tall.  
• Finn has always been kind of quite on the talking side (makes tons of noises) but recently he has been busting out with random words that I didn't even know he knew like 'keys' and 'hello'
• The most amazing thing I've noticed this month is that he is a Genius (ha ha). OK so I may be a little biased but he has been pointing things out and doing some stuff that I had no idea he could do or that I haven't taught him. For example, I spelled his name on the paper tablecloth at a restaurant and he looked at me and pointed to himself so he totally recognized his written name.  He is also starting to recognize the letters of the alphabet.  When we get to the letter E he starts making elephant sounds. He also has learned how to play the animal memory game on my phone and he is actually remembering and matching the animals.  He can find everything in our new I Spy book.  He knows what almost all the animal sounds are.  Even if we haven't read a book before, I can ask him to find something and he can.  He super observant, like finding planes way up in the sky. Love this smart boy!
• Of course he still eats a ton and eats all day long- its crazy. 
• He is obsessed with being outside.  Now that is has gotten nice, he wants to be out all day long.  We have walked, gone to the park, but mostly played in the backyard.  He is a super soccer player.  We are looking forward to summer.
• One thing that has become slightly challenging is that he has decided he wants to walk everywhere by himself and doesn't want to hold my hand.  His stubborn independent side is coming out in full force.

At this point we are having so much fun and it makes me so happy that he is getting the sleep he needs.  Ta ta for now!
