State Fair of Texas and then Roomate Weekend 2011

Last Thursday, my Dad took Finn, Haylee (my niece) and I to the State Fair of Texas.  I have been talking about going since we moved here and I had still never been.  I thought it was so much fun and the weather was perfect!  We walked around and looked at all the fun booths, saw and petted the animals, ate corny dogs, chocolate covered strawberries and a funnel cake.  I had a blast and I think the kids loved it too!

Then on Friday, I took off for Houston for our annual Roommate weekend and left Finn with Nana and Pops and Cade.  I had such a great time seeing Chels, Linds, and Lyd (its never the same without you Lib).  I loves these girls so much and I look forward to this all year.  Its kind of funny because we hardly ever do anything but sit around and talk and go eat but it is so refreshing to get to catch up on every one's lives and just love on each other.
