14 Months

14 Months. He won't sit still for even a second so this was the best one I got

Of course Finn and my dog Stan.  He thinks Stan is sooo funny but I'm not sure Stan likes it that much.

He can get almost anywhere he wants to go these days, including getting off the chairs and couches, etc.

I can't believe my baby is not so much a baby anymore.  Finn has transformed into a little boy in the last two months.  He is so much fun and I love this stage of his life! Here are a few things about this month:

• Finn is still super tall, taller than all his friends.  He also weighs 23 pounds, 12 ounces which means he has gained almost two pounds since turning a year.  He is still wearing a few 12 month clothes but really the 18 month clothes fit better.  It needs to hurry up and get cold.  He also is still wearing size 3 diapers but I've really been thinking about going up a size.  I bought him some new shoes and his foot grew from a 3 to a 5 this month.
• Finn is talking up a storm but still not saying much.  I usually always know exactly what he wants though because he is great at pointing and making recognizable expressions.  He does say mama, dada, dog, done, ball, banana, I think he says bath.  He understand so much though.  I can tell him to come here, go get his shoes, lets go take a bath, go upstairs, give it to Stan, lets go outside, do you want a snack or drink, playground, walk, don't do that, and much much more.  I'm generally amazed at how much he understands.
• He puked for the first time this month, on my couch.  He put a plastic lid in his mouth that gagged him- yuck.  I thought for sure it was too big to even go in.
• He eats everything that I do these days but his favorite is banana.  
• He loves other kids and plays so well with all ages of kids
• He is sleeping through the night and sleeping in until 7 or 7:30 sometimes.  He also goes to bed so easy now.  Night time isn't a struggle anymore and it is so wonderful!  He can even spend the night at Nana and Pops house sometimes and does great
• Speaking of Nana and Pops, he loves loves them, especially his Pops.  He is going to be Pops fishing buddy someday
• Of course he has been walking for a while now but he is beginning to run.  He absolutely loves to play soccer with Cade, it is so cute
• He is so happy these days.  Of course he can still throw a super fit and is still very strong willed however he has a really sweet spirit.
• He gives hugs now when I ask for one
• He loves to play outside, go to the park, and take walks.  He brings me his shoes and points at the back door all the time now.
• He discovered bubbles at church this month so I bought some for home and he thinks they are so fun!
• He still hasn't had a real haircut, besides the time I trimmed the top, and I feel like he really needs one but I'm having trouble letting go of that.  haha
• Did I mention he eats a ton!
• His favorite toys are still all his bouncy balls and now his little soccer ball.  He can entertain himself for hours playing with these.  He also is getting into everything.  He loves things in the kitchen and in my bathroom, including the dog food.

Like I said, I am loving this stage of Finn's life.  Everything has gotten so much easier and he is actually fun to be with and he is so super cute!!
