To begin, I'd love to let the world know that I have the best Mom ever! She is kind, loving, patience, giving, and has been a wonderful example for me. You should all be jealous because she is so awesome. Love you Mom!
I had a wonderful mother's day weekend! I have been kind of sick this past week so we laid low on Friday night and went to bed early. On Saturday, my brother and family came in town and I got to hang out with them and my parents. On Saturday night Holly and I got to go see a movie together. That was so fun to get to spend time with her! We saw 'Something Borrowed'. It was a good movie. We had both read the book and I actually didn't like it very much but the movie was entertaining. Definitely a girl movie. Cade did a great job putting Finn to bed for me (especially since he takes a bottle now- hallelujah). On Sunday, we got up and went to church and had lunch at my Mom's house. We had ham, twice baked potatoes, fresh green beans, fruit salad chocolate cake, and chocolate covered strawberries, it was super yummy. Mom and Dad made me and Holly feel so special and gave us each a charm for our Pandora bracelets. Then, Cade and I went home for Finn's nap time and to relax a little and then we were off to have dinner with Cade's family for his mother.
Cade was so sweet to me. He and Finn gave me a beautiful necklace that has their birthstone (since they share a birthday) a diamond in the middle and my birthstone on the other side. It was so thoughtful and sentimental. I feel like I did something special by having Finn and they certainly made me feel that way. Here are some pics of our day:
