Easter and the best week ever!!

Last week I left my camera at my in-laws house so I'm just now posting about Easter.  On Saturday, we celebrated with Cade's family. Everyone was there.  We ate a wonderful lunch together, hunted eggs outside and let the kids play all afternoon.
Our Little Family
Finn and his beloved egg
Kinsley and Finn.  All the cousins on that side of the family have a cousin that is their age and Finn and Kinsley are cousin buddies.
On Sunday, we went to church of course and then my parents came over for lunch.  We had a yummy brisqet.  Of course I had an Easter basket for Finn and my Mom brought one for him too.  Excuse how bad the picture is, I had to take it with my phone:

Now on to the best news I've had in a while.  I think Finn is weened!!!  Finn took a bottle for the first 5 months of his life and just decided one day he wasn't going to anymore.  Since then, I have been trying to give him a bottle every single night.  I had also been told maybe that's why he wasn't sleeping very good since my milk supply was dwindling.  This may sound funny but I have literally been praying and begging God for Finn to take a bottle because I really needed some sleep but also I needed some freedom from him and nursing him.  The day after Easter, he took a bottle and has been taking it ever since.  I actually teared up the first time and Cade laughed at me.  A few days ago I quit nursing him totally and I'm so happy.  I feel like this is such a blessing because I could leave him during "meal" time with someone or even Cade and not have to worry.  I was also worried he wasn't getting enough nutrients from me.  Of course right now I'm feeling the effects of stopping nursing but the good thing is I can take whatever medicine I want- yeah!!!!  Also this past week he has been sleeping so much better.  Not all night some nights but we are making so much progress.  I feel so incredibly relieved that this time in my life of feeling helpless with him is going to pass!!  Praise God for Finn's progress!
Have a great week my friends!

Commenting on the "making progress" part of your post: Ooo girl, I feel you! Being a mommy is a lot tougher than I thought it would be! No one really prepares a girl to become a mother. Or, at least, I wasn't. :) Two has completely rocked my world!
