8 Months, and The Easter Bunny

Its true, on the 10th Finn was 8 months old.  I think I say this every month but its hard to believe.  Life is getting better every day though at our house.  Finn has been so much happier these days. of course we still have a bad day or two.  He still isn't sleeping through the night and every once and a while we have a really rough night (getting up 5 or 6 times).  I have no idea what to do to make him sleep better, I've tried everything.  I think this is something he is just going to have to grow out of.  I look forward to a full nights sleep though.
Recently I have noticed that he is developing so fast.  He is getting so smart.  He will mimic me when we play with is toys.  He does not want to be fed anymore, he wants to do it all by himself.  That really means that he is a total mess but happy.  I've had to give him a bath every night because he gets so dirty.  He generally doesn't say too much but he can make all the sounds he is supposed to now and he says "ma ma" the most.  I love it.  All his summer clothes that we are wearing now are 9 or 12 month size.  He is just so long.  I can't wait to see how tall he is at his appointment next month.  His mohawk is getting so long that it is kind of crazy now but I still like it.  We get compliments on it everywhere we go.  I've noticed that he is a people watcher and observes everyone in the room.  He does really well when there is a lot going on around him.  However, he is still a mommas boy and needs me to be close.  I'm trying to break him of this but he is still super stubborn.  He is still on a bottle strike even though I try to give him one every night- so frustrating!!  I did buy a sippy cup though that he likes better so we have been working on using that more. Lastly, he is crazy!  He isn't crawling yet but he is so so active and moving all over the place.  He is army crawling across the floor and rolls everywhere.  He can get pretty much anywhere he wants to go and he always wants to go somewhere.  He is a very very active kid.  He walks all over the place in his walker too.  Because he is so active, its hard to get him to sit still so here are the worst pictures I've taken yet.  Also, my camera flash was bothering him this time he kept looking away.  Enjoy my terrible picture, this was the best one if you can believe it:
And lastly, my girlfriend and I took our boys to see the Easter Bunny.  I thought he was a little creepy myself but Finn wasn't scared.  He kept sticking his tongue out and turning around to look at the bunny so we had a hard time getting a good picture (I hope this isn't going to be a theme).  Enjoy:
