7 Months and random happenings

I can't believe Finn is now 7 months old.  I think I say that every month.  This past month has been much better than previous months.  Finn is starting to be much happier and he smiles much more now.  The best thing though is that he goes to bed at 8:00 and I just put him in bed and he goes right to sleep.  This is such an answered prayer because fighting him to go to bed and struggling until midnight some nights was really starting to wear on me.  I now get to have some time to myself every night.  Finn is now allowed to eat table food and he loves it.  I still feed him lots of baby food because we are starting slow since he has no teeth however, he has loved everything I give him.  He realizes now when we are eating and thinks he needs to eat too.  He has just about outgrown most of his 6 month clothes and he actually has a few 12 month pajamas that fit.  He is just soooo tall.  Today I took his 7 month pictures and he loves paper so I had a really hard time with my sign.  He wouldn't quit trying to eat it so I didn't get a really good picture.
Right before he ate my sign
Stan and Finn (Stan doesn't want to do this anymore)
Finn is so serious all the time.
Finn loves to play much more these days.  He also loves to go on walked and go shopping.  I think he just loves to be around people and watch everything that's going on.  The other day we went over to the shivers so Finn could play with his best bud Ty:
Ty and Finn.
Big Hug Mom! He is sitting up so much better now.
Finn LOVES his books but his favorite things are my cell phone and the remote control (just like a man)
His Mohawk is getting so long.  I tried to comb it down but now it won't.
The one big hurdle we have left with Finn is weening him.  He just won't have anything of it and is still on a bottle strike.  I've tried everything, different bottles, sippy cup, four different formulas, Karo syrup, etc, and nothing works.  I''m so tired of breastfeeding and I really hope in the next few weeks we can overcome this.  Although my sweet baby is probably the most stubborn baby on earth, I love him dearly and I feel richly blessed.
Have a great week!
