4 Months and Santa!

I can't believe my little Finn is 4 months old now and not so little anymore.  He is getting so tall! I go for his 4 month check up tomorrow and I can't wait to see how much he weighs.  He wants to sit up all the time now and I think he'll be sitting up by himself soon.  My life has begun to change for the better in the last two weeks.  Finn has finally quit screaming and crying in the car.  That was really rough and it kept me from leaving the house sometimes because I just couldn't take it.  He is smiling and laughing so much more but most importantly he isn't freaking out in the evenings anymore.  We are able to go places, see friends, go to small group, and basically have some of our sanity back.  I was beginning to feel guilty that I wasn't enjoying him but now I'm having a lot of fun (still sleep deprived sometimes but way more fun).  I think I'll keep him.  Here are his 4 month pics, he was so cute and smiling and laughing at me this month:

One day last week Cade came home from work early and we headed up to the mall to see Santa.  Luckily my Mom had dropped by that afternoon and brought him a cute Christmas shirt.  I was so proud of Finn, he didn't cry at all, of course I couldn't get him to smile but I as happy with no crying.

Lastly, all my family and friends have been super busy this year having babies.  Finn isn't even the youngest cousin in the family anymore!  We are so excited to meet my Cousin-in-Laws baby boy tomorrow!  We got to have a fun shower for her two weeks ago at my house.  Also, last Saturday I hosted our church's baby shower for my friend Shannon.  Finn is so excited for his friend Tyler to get here in January.

I love love love Christmas and I'm super excited about all the fun events over the next two weeks.  We've got Christmas parties, our church's Candlelight Christmas Service, celebrating with my big family, my immediate family, Cade's family, and then we have a fun weekend planned for new years.  I love the holidays!
