Announcement and a good weekend

This week was busy but great!  I have really enjoyed having my time back to focus on J Hilburn and prepare for my precious babies arrival.  First, Cade and I have officially decided on Baby T's name.  Are you ready for this?  His name is...
Finnegan Grey Thompson, and we are calling him Finn.  I'm in love with it and its final so if you don't like it- too bad haha.

On top of telling our name, I have felt much more accomplished this week.  On Tuesday, my cousin-in-law took me to Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us and she helped me look at all the millions of things.  She helped me know what I'll really need and what she loved most.  That was super helpful and I hope to get registered this week.  Also, we have been painting all week.  We had to do two coats of the flat paint and here is the finished product of that:

We did the first coat on Friday and the second coat on Saturday.  After it dried, we have begun the tedious process of taping for the painting of my glossy stripes:

We still have half of the room to tape and then we will paint the stripes.  I have to give a shout out to my wonderful husband.  He has been working so hard to do exactly what I want, he is the best! I can't wait to see the room paint all finished.  My furniture is being delivered on Friday- yeah!!!

Also this week, I got to eat dinner with my Mom, Dad, Matt, Holly, and Haylee.  It is always good to get to see them and spend time with the fam.  Haylee is getting so big, she is precious!
And of course, we celebrated Mother's Day yesterday.  I got several cards in the mail this week and I thought it was really fun.  At church, they always give flowers to the Moms.  This year, although all my friends wanted me to get one, I didn't stand up.  I am a mother in that I have a living human being inside my body however I haven't gotten to experience what it is like to actually mother my child.  I am looking forward to that though!  Cade's Mom and Dad came to church with us and we ate lunch at Pappadaux's.

As far as pregnancy goes, I'm still feeling really good except for my back hurting.  I have been so proud of myself because I have worn flat shoes like my doctor asked everyday the last two weeks, except for Sunday.  I don't really think its helping but I'm willing to try anything.  I also got a preggo massage on Saturday and it was sooooo great!!  I have a feeling my back is just going to hurt until little Finn is out of my body.  I only have 11-12 weeks left, I can make it!!
