My Big Exciting Secret!!!!!

So I haven't blogged in a while. The reason is that Cade and I have had something huge happening that I couldn't talk about until now. I am so excited to tell you that my husband's company, Halo Group Inc., is now officially a PUBLICLY TRADED COMPANY!!!!!!!

Just in case you missed it...HALO IS PUBLIC!!! Whoohooo!!

This has been the biggest accomplishment of my husband's business life so far! He has worked toward this specific goal for a least two years. He absolutely amazes me everyday and I can't even put into words how proud of him I am. I don't think he is the youngest CEO who owns a publicly traded company, but he's close!!

After they closed, a bunch of us got to go to New York City! Here is our trip in a few pics:

We left really early on Tuesday morning. This is the view from our hotel window. We stayed at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. It was awesome! Cade and some of his business partners were attending a Mortgage Conference held at the hotel. Reif, Cade's cousin and corporate attorney, brought his wife Meagan for me to hang out with. We walked around the city for a little while but had to quickly get ready for dinner.


We were invited to eat dinner at The Four Season's with the owners of the company that Halo merged with. Although I didn't say much at dinner, this was one of my favorite experiences. It was kind of surreal to be in NYC having a business man toast my husband for his accomplishments. Above is some of us after dinner.

On Wednesday, Cade was a speaker at the conference they were attending and of course, he did awesome!! This is Cade and I about to head out to do some shopping and eating with Reif and Meagan.


On Wednesday night, we ate at an awesome restaurant called TAO. It was probably the nicest Asian food I've ever eaten. After dinner we went to the Broadway show of Mary Poppins. I loved it! After the show we went to one of the comedy shows in Times Square. It was pretty funny but mostly just a fun experience.



On Thursday, we got up and went to Wall Street. Above is a picture of Reif, Cade, and Paul, Halo's CFO in front of the New York Stock Exchange. It was such a great feeling of accomplishment to know you can look up Halo now.


This is Cade and I in front of the Bull on Wall street. After a little more shopping and sight seeing we had to go back to the hotel to head to the airport. It was a quick trip but a wonderful one. I'm so thankful that I got to tag along and be there for this special time in Cade's business.
