This weekend

We were super busy this weekend. On Friday night we went over to Jeffrey Rascoe's house to celebrate his birthday. That was lots of fun. It was cool and rainy so we didn't get in the hot tub.

On Saturday, I prepared all day for a co-ed wedding shower we had at our house on Saturday night. During the day, Cade went over to his parents house who were celebrating Easter late with the family. He wore a huge easter bunny costume for our nieces and newphews. I can't wait until I have a picture of that to show you.

The shower went great. Mikey and Amy got lots of cool stuff. We had about 45 people at my house. I cooked BBQ brisket and sausage,and we had beans, potatoe salad, chips, pickles and onions. Becky helped me make 60 cupcakes of all flavors with homemade cream cheese icing and homemade buttercream icing. We tried to make each cupcake with a differen combination of cake, icing, and spinkles. It looked very summerish. Here are some pics from the shower.
