Great weekend!!

This weekend I attended the Greenville Oaks Ladies retreat. It was my 4th year to go. I thought this was the best one yet. The topic was waiting on God and our guest speaker was Gina Calvert. I think every lady that attended could relate to this discussion. I'll go into more detail on my thoughts and what I'm waiting on about this weekend in a later post but I think you should read Lori's (a friend of mine's) blog about her experience: it is a link on here called Turnbow Puzzle.

On Sunday, I got to go to a wedding shower and I had a blast! One of the girls had some yorkie puppies that her dog had that she was selling. I wanted one so bad but then I remembered how much work Stan was when he was a puppy. Here I am with one:

Also, While I was out of town, my hubby bought me a new vehicle. It is a beautiful black Yukon with all the fun gadgets. I love it! My husband is so good to me, I'm super spoiled. I was going to take a picture of it today but it is pouring down rain today.

Me and my girlfriends have decided that we are going to start a book club. Aren't we huge dorks? I've been nominated the "Curriculum Director" haha isn't that funny. I guess that means I get to pick our books. Here a picture of me and one of my best friends, Becky, from this weekend. We are both proudly wearing out Twilight T-shirts:

Lastly, I have decided that I am going to be in the Cooper Triathalon in July this summer. I'm really pumped! I told Cade and he thinks I can't do it so it gave me even more motivation. On Wednesday I am going on my first real bike ride. I go to spin class all the time so it shouldn't be too hard right?? I really need to start practicing on the swimming, I think that will be my weakest area. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
