My Job

I can't believe I've been so bad about writing lately!! Today I want to take a minute to tell you what I do. I am a Marketing and Business Development Rep for a fee attorney office of Stewart Title. A lot of people don't really have any idea what a title company does, its OK, I didn't either until I started working at one several years ago. If you have ever bought a house or refinanced then you have gone to a title company for closing (remember your hand hurting from signing so many documents!!). I'm not going to go into all the boring details about what title insurance is or what the responsibilities in the mortgage process we have. What I do for my office is bring in the business. I get to go out and market to loan officers, bankers, brokers, and Realtors. Its a lot of fun. I get to go to all the events for the Chamber, Collin County Association of Realtors, Women's Council of Realtors, Mortgage Networking events, etc. I also get to take people fun things and go out to lunch a lot. Also since I've been a closer for our office before I sometime do closings for my clients . I really like what I do. I also work with a group of really great girls!
I'm always looking for referrals so if you or someone you know is buying, selling, or refinancing their home I'd love to help.

On a different note, tonight Cade and I get to hang out with his sister and our brother-in-law. I don't think we've gotten to be with just the two of them since they had their first child almost 4 years ago. I'm pumped and I can't wait to share pics with you!!
