On an
other note, I have the cutest dog on the planet! However, he is a terrible mess sometimes. On Wednesday morning when I was in the shower he peed on my bed. Seriously?!? On my Bed!! I really thought I was going to kill him. I can't really remember ever being so mad at him. I've said this before but he is my favorite dog I have ever had BUT..I'll never get another yorkie!! Just look at his Little sleepy face in the pic though, you have to love him!Lastly, I have had the hardest time trying to decide what to make for dinner lately. I've been pretty hungry but nothing sounds good, especially thinking about eating a big piece of meat. It has seemed as though types of pastas have really been my go-to meals. I thought I'd share my favorite Chicken Spaghetti recipe with you today. It makes two 9x13 pans so I usually freeze one for a few weeks down the road.
1 Chicken Boiled and Cut Up ( I never do a whole chicken because it grosses me out, I use about 4 bone-in chicken breasts and then pull the meat off the bone. The bone make the broth taste better)
1 lb. Spaghetti
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 bell pepper chopped
1 medium onion chopped
1 4oz. jar chopped pimentos
1 8oz. box Velveeta
1 stick butter
After boiling chicken, cook spaghetti in chicken broth (do not drain unless you have a lot of water).
In a large skillet, saute onion, bell pepper in the butter until tender. Add cheese until melted and set aside.
Combine skillet mixture with spaghetti and soups. Add chicken and mix well.
Pour into two cooking dishes and bake and at 350 until bubbly- approx 30 minutes. I like to top with grated cheese
* if I'm having a lot of people over I also add 1 can of cheese soup to make a little more.
