Silver Dollar Ball

Last weekend Cade and I were invited to sit at the PrimeLending table at the Silver Dollar Ball. It is an event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It was a hoot! The theme was boots and diamonds and everyone showed up in their Texas attire! There was a silent auction, live auction, games (like the mechanical bull that Cade rode), food, drinks, and music. Tracy Byrd played which was really cool because it wasn't like a concert, he was just right in front of us. There were also some Cowboys players there. We were in a huge white tent out on a ranch and they had covered the floor of the tent with hay. It rained cats and dogs and we got totally soaked, ruined our shoes, but had a blast. This is an awful picture but here Cade and I are in the free hats we got:

PS- I'm really disappointed in American Idol. I really liked Allison and I wanted Adam to go home. I do think Adam is talented but I think he would be good on Broadway. He is a little too dramatic for me and that one high note that he hits and holds all the time is seriously getting on my nerves.
