Once a year, our church has a Sunday that we call "Love Where you Live". The idea is go out from the church building and be the church in our community. Our church does a great job on a regular basis of helping our community including the school and apartments by our building, but on this particular Sunday, we have no service and everyone is assigned a project. My small group was asked to help an older lady clean out her gutters and cut down some trees. It was a pretty big job but we had fun and I find it encouraging to serve others in this way. Thanks for all your hard work everyone!!
