I keep saying that every day just keeps getting better and better. Of course Finn still isn't sleeping through the night yet but he usually does about once a week. He is still what I would call a challenging baby but things are a million times better than they used to be. I feel like getting him to a year old is a huge accomplishment for me, funny I know! Of course there are many things that I want to remember and this time I'm going to use bullet points :)
- This is the first month we've hit where he is wearing that size clothes. Yes some of his 12 month clothes are tight and he is wearing 18 month size pajamas and size 3 diapers. I can't wait to see how tall he is at his appointment next week. Wears size 3 shoes right now.
- He still loves to eat, and he eats everything in sight. His fav is still bananas but now he gets to eat almost anything I do. He loves bites from my plate
- He is starting to throw temper tantrums when I don't want him to touch something or do something (like crawl up the stairs). I'm going to have to read up on some good techniques for managing strong willed children.
- He has begun to dance when he hears music and he is pointing at everything.
- He "talks" baby talk all the time but still doesn't say much except mama and dada. He does understand a lot though.
- He is so close to walking but just not doing it yet. He can stand in one place for a bit now and I bet he takes off very soon.
- He absolutely loves his Nana and Pops, so cute!
- His favorite toys are still his rubber balls. He will throw and roll them all over the house and chase them, he does this for hours every day. When Cade gets home they play soccer and Finn loves it. He is going to be some kind of athlete.
- Diaper changing is such a challenge right now. He doesn't care if he is dirty and doesn't want to be still long enough for me to change it. ugg
- He only has two teeth on the bottom and one barely poking through on top. He had terrible diapers for a week this month a fever a few days, no fun, so glad that's better.
- Love my little boy and I'm already so proud of him!

Happy Birthday to Finn! He is so stinkin' adorable. I just want to squeeze him!
May I suggest the Love and Logic books. Worked wonders for Madison and even if for nothing else but to help me not get so frustrated! The one I read was "Love and Logic Magic for Early Childhood"
Jamie! It's so funny how many of your comments are EXACTLY what we are going through! It think as our two boys get older, that 2 month difference is nada. Griffin has started tantrums when I tell him "no" and changing a diaper is literally a two person job or a two outfit job, if you get what I'm saying. So sorry we missed his party! I hope you got the gift, though! Miss you!
