Today is Monday, Cade has been out of town since last Wednesday morning. That is 6 full days with my teething child alone. I feel like my nerves are on end. I usually do really great when Cade is out of town, but this time has proved to be a little rough. Also, Cade missed his first Father's Day. I have several surprises for him when he gets home here in a few hours. For his gift, I totally organized his closet. I got him shoe racks, reorganized his clothes, I bought wooden hangers, and the coolest bench with storage in it so he can sit and put on his shoes. I hope he loves it.
The other surprise I have for him is that I cut about 12 inches off my hair!! Ahhhhh can you believe it?!? I haven't had my hair this short since I was 5 years old. I did it about 3 days ago and I think so far I might like it long better but I donated my hair to Locks of Love which I feel good about. I hope this will just be a good change for a while. I just really really hope Cade likes it! My Mom took some pics for me:
