1 Month Old

Yesterday my little Finn turned one month old.  I can't believe it!!  I feel like it has flown by already and I'm actually surprised by that.  I've never been a really big "kid person".  By that I mean that I really hated baby sitting, I never liked to hold other people's children, and I had always been really nervous around newborns.  Because of this, I was nervous about having my own newborn to care for, but my motherly instincts kicked into high gear with flying colors and its been great!!  Last night Finn slept for 5 whole hours without waking up, I couldn't believe it when I woke up and realized what time it is.  He is still eating great and he is happy all day generally.  In the evenings he gets kind of cranky and occasionally has a tummy ache.  He loves to be held by Cade when his tummy hurts.  He is spitting up a ton but my pediatrician tells me that's normal- yuck!  I've also been feeling a ton better.  I think I'll  be ready to get back to working out again in a few weeks.  I know I've recovered really well but I still feel fat.  I think that's probably a universal feeling though after having a baby :)

Lots of my girlfriends have used a teddy bear or something like that in their kids pictures so you can see how much they've grown throughout the year, Stan is going to be my gauge (I just couldn't leave him out). Aren't they cute together?!?
