This morning I went to my last doctors appointment. I am currently 2 centimeters dilated and 90 percent effaced. We have set an induction date for Thursday. I'm going to be in that small percent of women who actually have their child on their due date! I never thought I would have made it this long but I guess Finn is just nice and cozy in there. A few days last week I felt just terrible but over the weekend I have felt great and I feel great again today. I am not as swollen as I was and my joints aren't hurting as bad. I do feel like there is no way my belly can get any bigger though, it is stretched as far as it will go :)
So for the moment, I am focused on celebrating my sweet husband tomorrow for his birthday.

Hey, Lady! So is this an "elective induction," or is he inducing you due to pain? I know some doctors are particular about not inducing unless you're over your date by a week. (In my case, I was induced both times at about 38 1/2 weeks. LOVE the induction. I'm a planner, though. I absolutely hate surprises.) Anyway, I need to hear from you, so tell me which hospital you'll be in, okay? Thanks!!!!!
