Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend was wonderful!!  It was wonderful mostly because I got to spend time with my wonderful husband!  On Friday night we went over to my parents house and cooked out burgers.  Friday night was a full moon and was supposed to be one of the best fishing nights of the month so my Dad and Cade headed over to the "lake" across" from my parents house and fished until the wee hours of the morning.  I got to spend some good time with my Mom but of course, I went home and went to bed by 10 (I can't help it, i'm pregnant).
On Saturday, we slept in, ate breakfast and drank coffee together.  Cade headed off to play golf and I headed to the pool.  It has been so nice to lay out this summer even though I'm no so swimsuit worthy as I used to be.  Sorry to all the people at the pool who have to explain to their children why I look so funny!  On Saturday night we had a wedding to attend for one of the ladies at Halo.  Here we are:
On Sunday, we went to church and then ate sandwiches at home.  We both totally passed out on the couch for a while and then headed to the movies with our friends.  The boys went to a different movie but us girls went to see Sex in the City 2.  It was fun to go see however I was kind of disappointed.  It wasn't near as good as the show was or the first movie.  I think its time to quit making those :)  Sunday night we rented the movie Valentine's Day and vegged out on the couch.  My Hollywood love, Bradley Cooper ends up being gay in that movie--so dissappointing!  Cade laughed so hard about it though!
On Monday, I rode with Cade on his golf round.  It was so nice to be outside and just hang out. I also didn't wear makeup all day which was slightly liberating even though I looked terrible :)  Here we are in the golf cart:
After golf, we showered and ended up ordering a pizza and renting another movie.  I love being lazy sometimes!  What a great holiday weekend!

I feel bad that we had no idea it was memorial day! Apparently it's not a big deal over here. (: So glad you had such a great weekend. P.S. - while we in Kenya I stuck something (very) small in the mail for Finn so keep your eyes open. Love you!
