Here are a few pics of the room after we finished all the painting. I must give a huge high five to my wonderful husband who painted everything for me. He used a laser level so all the stripes are perfect!! Isn't he wonderful!?!
My goal this week is to get registered. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for not registering yet but it has been kind of an overwhelming task for me. Unfortunately, I'm super picky about certain things and Babies R Us has some things I like and Buy Buy Baby has some things I like and both don't have other things that I want so I stressed over where to register. Silly I know!
I have also been on the search for the most perfect rocker/glider. I realized very quickly that everything I liked was ridiculously expensive. I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Babies R Us. It is super soft, the back comes up high enough for my head to rest on, and its foot rest pops out like a recliner in stead of a separate ottoman. It was super reasonably priced and on sale for 20% off and I had a $100 gift card already- score!! I ordered it today and it takes 10 weeks, that means it will come in the week Finn is due (I shouldn't have procrastinated so long!).
