Mother's Day weekend

This weekend was great. On Friday night we took my Mom and Dad out to dinner to celebrate Mother's Day with my Mom. We went to our favorite steakhouse that is located in historical downtown McKinney, Rick Chophouse. We always enjoy that place. Also my Dad had been out of town for a week so it was great to catch up.
On Saturday I spent the whole day with my friend Amy for her bachelorette party. We planned to lay out but it was cloudy so we just sat outside for the afternoon. Turns out I got some sun anyways and I had tan lines...ahhh! Then we went to the hotel in downtown Dallas and got dressed. We ate at Matitto's, a great Mexican food place downtown. Then we hung out downtown for the rest of the night. It was so much fun to meet all her girlfriends from college. Here is Becky, Me, and Shannon before dinner: We didn't get home until about 4am on Saturday night/Sunday morning, whatever you want to call it. It was so much fun though to be with all the girls.
On Sunday, all three of us girls worked in the nursery at church. That is always an experience, especially working about about 2 hours of sleep. They asked those of us without children to help so the Moms could go to worship. I'm always willing to help where needed but a whole room full of kids that I don't know is stressful!
On Sunday night we took Cade's mom and Dad out to Pappadauex's for dinner. I couldn't believe how packed it was. We went to dinner thinking it wouldn't be as busy as lunch. We had a great time with them too.
I bought both my Mom and Debbie Pandora charm bracelet stuff. It is this cool new charm bracelet that doesn't have dangling charms, they are all in a tube shape and they screw on to the bracelet. It is a really neat concept.
Last but not least, my sweet Mom sent me an ecard telling what a great MOM I am for Stan. Wasn't that sweet. She knows that Stan is my baby- haha. Hope your Mother's Day was great!
