Of course being a former Poly Sci major, I was totally into watching the election this week (and really this year). I think all of America was watching the election this week. I am a conservative Republican however I thought it was really moving to see our country elect its first black president. It is amazing how far our nation has come. I pray that God blesses president-elect Obama's term in office and influences the decisions he makes!
Every Halloween our friends have a fun Halloween party together. The rules are 1. You must wear a costume and 2. you must bring a carved pumpkin for the pumpkin carving contest. My husband has really taken this contest to heart and become a master pumpkin carver. I was so impressed with him this year. He took a picture of his mom, edited it on photoshop, and carved a pumpkin out of it. This is the pumpkin being held up to a light in my kitchen. It looks EXACTLY like her. This is my Mother-in-Law, on a pumpkin! Isn't that crazy?
Cade dressed up as a creepy old guy with this nasty, scary, mask he has. It kind of gives me the creeps. I was an 80's rock star. I still own my crimper so I use every opportunity that I can to use it! I'm convinced that crimped hair will come back someday, if you own one, never throw it away :)

great pumpkin!
Not gonna lie. That pumpkin is unbelievable...I had to make it bigger on my screen adn make sure it was really a pumpkin...it is!! Way to go, Cade! I hope you won. I guess now, though, you have to throw away your mom's head...that's kind of weird.
Thanks for letting me know about you blog, Jamie!
I thought about you during elections, too.
